Our most popular savings account can be opened with as little as $75.00, and as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $75.00, we’ll waive the $2.00 monthly service charge. This account is allowed up to six withdrawals or transfers per month for free. ($1 per transfer will apply if more than 6 per month). There is no limit on the number of deposits that can be made, and statements are provided on a monthly or quarterly basis.

This savings option offers higher interest rates than a traditional savings account and the interest rates are tiered, meaning the higher the balance in your account, the higher the interest rate.
This account requires a minimum opening balance of $2,500.00 and if you maintain a minimum balance $2,500.00, we’ll waive the $10.00 monthly service charge. This account can be opened with as little as $25.00 and has a minimum balance requirement of only $25.00 to waive the $2.00 monthly service charge. The account is allowed unlimited in person withdrawals and up to six transfers per month for free and has a $1.00 withdrawal fee after that. There is no limit to the number of deposits, and statements are provided on a monthly or quarterly basis. The account comes with a free piggy bank to encourage saving for the future!

This one-of-a-kind account was developed to help save for the holidays! It comes with a higher interest rate than a traditional savings account and interest is paid quarterly. A minimum opening deposit amount of only $20.00 is required to open this account with a minimum monthly transfer of $20.00 from any other Viking Bank account. On November 9th the money you saved throughout the year plus the interest you earned will be transferred back to the account it came from just in time for your holiday shopping.
